It took me awhile this week to come up with something to shoot for the PhotoFriday word Tiny. I wanted to find something really small, but intricate and interesting. I found an old swiss watch in a drawer and took off the back, pulled out the macro lens and got the shot I had in mind. Luckily, it is also perfect for this weeks i-gizmo word, Macro. This is actually just over a centimeter wide. Each of those gears are just a few millimeters wide. Now that is tiny ;)

This is a cool shot! What sort of scale are we looking at? Did you do anything special to light it?

You put the M in macro on this one. Wow, great detail with the shapes and clarity. This is really impressive.
