Man, these guys are hard to catch. I wanted a high ISO for the best picture quality, but that drove my aperature to 5.6 for a decent speed which meant my DOF was minimal. I set the camera on a tripod, set to manual exposure/focus and fired remotely while I sat drinking a beer and waiting. In retrospect, I should have used a higher ISO so I could use a smaller aperature and more DOF. If I did this, I would have had a higher number of successful shots.
