I ended up taking about a dozen shots of this room bracketing plus and minus three stops. I was thinking of using Photoshop to combine them into an HDR image, but I found that I could do a better job myself. Most of the shot is one that was about 1 stop overexposed brought back down 1 stop which gave the shot that rich colour. The second shot was a stop under and was really only used to layer in some detail around the window which was a bit blown out in the overexposed shot.

WOW, this room looks really haunted, but the composition is cool. You have managed to capture the effect of the strong sun light coming from the window and paint peeling off from the walls and ceiling. Nice work !!

Yeah, what a cool room! I love all the crackly-peeling paint. I really do like the blue-yellow colors.

I love the lighting on this, especially the glow from the window. The flaking paint on the ceiling is amazing, how long has this building been abandoned?

Nice job you did here with your bracketing. You tell a story with this photo and i like that. It makes you wonder what happened in this room. Best wishes from Switzerland Neil
