I was treking in the Colca Canyon when I passed this boy sitting outside the local school early one morning. The Colca Canyon is the second deepest canyon in the world. This small, one room schoolhouse at the bottom of the canyon acts as a home for the local children, feeding them, teaching them and watching over them as their parents and older siblings work in the fields.
